Good concept- needs corect aiming and time to work

It's not a magic fix overnight, but as a way to reinforce training consistently, it's a really clever little device. Definitely worth trying. I'll update later.

Keeping our hairy dog off our new couch!

Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2026

My dog who knows he's not allowed on the new couch, but he only stays off of it when we we're home! We put ChatrBox on the couch when we leave and he now stays off the couch! We've only had ot for a week and hoping he will learn this over time so we don't have to use anything. Love the concept of the voice!

Helped stop our cat from jumping on the counter

Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2026

I wasn't sure this would work with our cat, but I decided to give it a try after seeing it on FB. Recording my own voice was simple, and after a little adjustment to the placement, she quickly started avoiding the kitchen counters. :-) The setup instructions were clear, and the whole device is much smaller than I expected.

Great Early Warning

Our rescue dog had pooping accidents whenever we were in the other room. We started using ChatrBox near the area where it happens. Now we know when she sneaks back there an we can let her out! Woo HOO!

Works as advertised when aimed correctly

I bought ChatrBox because we had just purchased new furniture and I really didn’t want our dog destroying it like the furniture we replaced. It did take me a little time at first to understand the best way to set it up and aim it properly. The Quick Start Guide honestly wasn’t very helpful, but thankfully the videos on the website did a much better job explaining how to set everything up and use it. The focus shields are also pretty important if you want to target a specific area. Once I figured those out, it worked really well. It’s actually pretty cool how you can narrow down exactly where you want ChatrBox to detect your dog. Overall, very happy with it.

Pretty cool

love that it uses my own voice instead of punishment. It helped stop our puppy from sneaking onto the furniture, and now just seeing the ChatrBox is often enough to keep him away. fingers crossed.

Helped My Cat Stay Off My Sewing Table!

Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2026

I originally bought ChatrBox my over-stimualted Dalmations who a bad habit of kitchen counter surfing, but the biggest surprise was how well it worked for my cat. I have a sewing room where I leave projects set up, and my cat loved walking across the table, playing with thread, and occasionally knocking pins or scissors onto the floor. Closing the door wasn't always practical because I spend hours going in and out. I recorded myself saying, "Hey! Off the table." Within a few days, she started hopping down almost immediately whenever she heard my voice. After a couple of weeks, I noticed something even better—she simply stopped jumping onto the sewing table altogether, even when ChatrBox wasn't speaking very often. What impressed me most was that I wasn't trying to scare her. It just sounded like I had walked into the room and caught her in the act. I honestly never would have thought a product marketed for dogs would end up solving one of my biggest cat problems.

I Didn't Think It Would Work... But It Did

Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2026

I honestly didn't think this little box was going to stop my 120 lb Bernese Mountain Dog, but it did. Whenever we left the house, he'd climb right up on our bed (and pretty much any other furniture he felt like). My wife hated it as he's pretty messy The only thing that worked before was keeping the bedroom door closed, which messed with the A/C. The first time we used ChatterBox, he stayed off the bed. Since then, he hasn't even bothered trying, and that's exactly what we were hoping for. I think the combination of the alert tones and hearing my voice is what finally got through to him. He's a stubborn dog, and my voice alone never did the trick. Really impressed with how well this thing works. Definitely a 5-star product! Recommend

Stopped my Jack Russell from scratching door A++

Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2026

A friend let me borrow his ChatrBox to see if it would stop my 3yr old Jack Russel from scratching at the door trim whenever I left. I recorded No Bruce, back now! and put it near the back door where he scratches constantly when I'm gone. I'd leave through the garage door like normal and then sneak back around to the window to see what would happen. Every time he started toward the door, my message would play and he'd back away almost immediately. It was kind a funny because you could see him thinking what the heck was that! haha. After watching it work it's magic, I was sold. I'll be buying one of my own now. A++

No more peeing!

Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2026

Finally, something that stopped my 11-year-old tabby from peeing on my rugs and in the hallway. After hearing my recorded voice a few times, she started turning around and leaving the area. I think she was confused by hearing me when I wasn’t there, but whatever the reason, it’s worked. So far, no more peeing

So far so good

Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2026

Our biggest problem wasn't accidents or barking—it was our cat constantly jumping onto the kitchen counters whenever we left the room. We tried aluminum foil, double-sided tape, and just about every trick we could find online. Nothing seemed to last. With ChatrBox, we recorded a simple message saying "Mittens, get down" in the same tone we normally use. The first few times it went off, she looked completely confused and immediately jumped down. After about a week, we noticed she was spending much less time on the counters, even when the device wasn't triggered. I like that it doesn't scare her or spray anything. It just reminds her of the rules we've already been teaching. The battery life has been better than expected, and the motion shields helped us keep it focused on the counter area. It's not magic, and it still takes consistency, but it has definitely helped reduce a behavior we had been struggling with for months. I'd buy it again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We've tried a lot different products from Schock products of scat match do you name it sprays cause we have several animals that just refuse to stay off the furniture countertops, etc. This is the first product that actually worked and we really appreciate the fact that it was a humane way of doing it. It didn't take long to work and now just seeing the box the animals behave. 👍

We've tried several training approaches over the years, but ChatrBox has been one of the easiest tools to incorporate into our daily routine. We placed it near a doorway where our dog frequently crossed into an off-limits area, and within a couple of weeks the behavior improved significantly. The ability to use our own voice made the correction feel familiar and consistent. Setup took only a few minutes, and the device has worked reliably ever since. Highly recommended for pet owners looking for a humane way to reinforce household rules.

We originally purchased ChatrBox because our rescue dog was having recurring accidents in the same hallway despite regular walks and ongoing training. The behavior had become frustrating because it was inconsistent and difficult to correct in the moment. After reading about the product, we decided to give it a try. Setup was straightforward. We recorded our own voice using the same command we normally use during training and positioned the device near the problem area. The first few days required some experimentation with placement, but once we narrowed the detection zone the results became noticeable. Over the next several weeks we observed fewer accidents and better overall awareness of the boundaries we were trying to establish. The biggest benefit was consistency. The device delivered the same correction every time the behavior occurred, even when we were in another room or away from home. What we like most is that it works with our existing training methods. It doesn't rely on fear, discomfort, or punishment. Instead, it reinforces familiar commands in the moment when they matter most. For us, that has made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend it to pet owners dealing with recurring behavior issues that require consistent reinforcement.

Our Labrador had developed a habit of sneaking into the dining room whenever we left the area. We had tried baby gates, moving furniture, and even rearranging the room, but nothing seemed to work for very long. ChatrBox gave us a way to reinforce the same commands we use during training even when we weren't standing there. We recorded a simple voice message and positioned the device near the entryway. Within a few days our dog began hesitating before entering the room. After several weeks of consistent use the behavior improved dramatically. What impressed us most was that it felt like an extension of our existing training rather than a punishment. We appreciate the humane approach and the ability to customize the message
